As an international volunteer, intern, or Arabic student at the Levantine Arabic Institute, you will be able to enjoy many exciting opportunities when you arrive in Palestine. All of our programs are designed to allow you to engage fully with the Palestinian culture, forge strong relationships, and challenge yourself.
As a volunteer, intern, or Arabic student, you will be making important contributions to the Palestinian community. While embracing a new lifestyle, you will also be meeting plenty of new people (both Palestinians and other internationals), and you will have the opportunity to learn a new language as you work alongside the local Palestinians and refugees from in and around the city of Hebron.

When Can I Start?
Our organization accepts applications and participants throughout the year, with programs typically lasting one to three months in duration. You can freely choose your starting and ending dates. At the Levantine Arabic Institute, we offer three main programs: Arabic language classes, internship programs, Arabic online courses, and volunteer programs.
Who Can Apply?
Our programs are open to all, whether you are a student, undergraduate, English native speaker or non-native speaker, graduate, professional, professor, worker, family, solo traveler, researcher, or retired. You must be 18+ years old to participate.
Steps to Getting Started in Our Programs
- Choose which program you are interested in.
- Email us requesting an application, listing the name of your desired program in the subject.
- We will send you the application, and you will fill it out and send it back to us.

After We Receive Your Application
- We review the application with our team (this usually takes a week)
- You may be invited to a short talk on a Skype call, Zoom, or WhatsApp to give you more information and answer all of the questions.
Selections Process
- We will send you an acceptance letter and a program contract.
- Sign the contract and send it back to us.
- Pay the fees online.
- You are ready to come to Hebron, Palestine, and join our Levantine Arabic Institute family.
Before Arrival in Palestine
The Levantine Arabic Institute will introduce you to our family and staff. If you are interested, you could also meet virtually with other participants who will be at the center at the same time as you. For participants staying with a Palestinian host family, we can also introduce them to you before their arrival.
If it is needed, the Levantine Arabic Institute team will be more than happy to organize a Skype or WhatsApp call to discuss travel instructions to Hebron, answer any questions you might have, and provide more information.
